From a .500. Petrol, plastic, coriander, ginger, preserved yellow peach, preserved apricot and canned papaya on the nose. Medium + intensity of aromas. Medium dry on the palate, which is more mineral than the nose. It shows flavors of chalk/slate, dirt, black tea, white button mushrooms in addition to the preserved stone fruits from the nose. High intensity of flavors. The RS is there, but it feels pretty subtle compared to other Auslese wines from the Mosel. Medium body with …

clear, medium amber colour with a petrol note on opening and pouring. very expressive with aromas and flavours of elderflower, peach, nectarine, mango, honeycomb, ginger and wet stones. just about off-dry, with bright acidity, medium body, the flavours show clarity, definition and layering, and are laced by a minty note that freshens the long (dry) finish. no apparent botrytis influence on this gorgeous aged Auslese that has quite some life left. 9% AbV

Very enjoyable. Stone fruit notes, honey, and a vibrant acidity that makes it exciting.

i am tasting the same wine as the others. cork wet partway up but seal intact. color light gold. this is showing it's maturity yet still retains some freshness secondary to the acid structure. at cellar temp there is good balance between the acid and RS, and chilling favors the RS a bit. i will drink remaining bottle at cellar temp or just a tad cooler.

Medium yellow. Ripe stone fruit aromas. Off dry, more neutral palate.

So nice. An unbelievable amount of acidity still. This could go quite a bit longer. Vibrant and fun.

Very much a classic aged Mosel Auslese. The color in the glass was a beautiful light amber. After about five minutes of air the nose blossomed with tropical fruit notes along with classic notes of peach and lychee. The palate still showed touches of sweetness after 20+ years in bottle. Solid acidity was balanced with soft notes of peach, pineapple and mango along with touches of spice and stone.
