Pours very pale ruby in the glass, was The nose is expressive and complex: beetroot, sassafras, mint, fruit punch, a touch of dried orange peel, some grapefruit pith, a touch of plasticy/rubbery reduction, and a little cherry cough syrup. The palate is lovely with plenty of bright red fruit, medium minus tannin, and medium acid. Finishes on some butter grapefruit pith. Really nice wine. Almost 92.
