Light garnet in color, transparent, and some orange bricking on the edges. On the nose, ripe black cherry, leather, cigar box, cedar, dried herbs like rosemary and basil and rose petals, dirt and mud, a hint of dustiness, and baking spices. On the palate, huge tannins, high acidity, dry, medium-minus bodied, long finish, medium alcohol. Love the structure of Barolo - zippy acidity and chewy tannins. Start with, love Barolo, Decanted for about 20 minutes. This is a nice smooth example.

I like CA Cabernet much better than Barolo which is too thin and too heavy on tannins.

from half bottle, already showing good, powerful, but the tannins are smooth, reluctant on the fruit, but well structured

Tasted at a trade event in NJ. Light clear ruby. Smells like pure Nebbiolo no mistaking it. Approachable in this vintage with good depth of fruit flavor, a nice finish. Ok structure. Not a long ager.
