Bright dark core and a purple hue. Fine purity on the nose, youthful and layered with ripe plum, cassis, cherry, tobacco, fine oak, and a slight "cool" herbaceous presence. The palate boasts a fine level of concentration and freshness combined - ripe and grainy tannin, layers of digest and dark fruit with fine oak integration and a very long vigorous finish.
