Saintsbury, Toyon Pinot Noir, Los Carneros

Mellow, complex, spice, tobacco, raisin, medium body...pleasing mouth feel..much of finish dissipates quickly but there is a pleasant lingering sense of the wine

Smooth and well aged. A very pleasant wine. I wish I had more.

Sorting Table want to sell us some Wines (Conference room) : Muted nose. Great fruit, with some elegance as well. Very nice Pinot, and this will age well.

this is too intensily perfumed for me. upon opening overoaked as well. I agree with the pleasant acidity and mouthfeel described elsewhere, but the perfume aromas are too dominant and too distracting.

Very Carneros Pinot Noir. Always been a fan of all the Saintsbury wines, but the Brown Ranch stands out among my all-time favorites. I've sampled the other Single Vineyard designations in the '06 line and was never dissapointed, yet at the same time none of them stood out as 'oustanding' wines overall -- until I tried the Toyon Farm.
