Red fruited wine with a lot of acidity up front. This is more of a feminine wine. This is a field blend of 25% Cab Franc, 20 Merlot, 15 Zinfandel and remainder is Syrah, Grenache and Petite Sirah. Nose of herbs and red fruit. Entry is sweet red fruit, medium bodied, cherries and a hint of clove here as well. Finishes rather light on its feet without a heavy tannic influence but went rather well with herb pork loin.
