Strange ash/talc nose not appealing, very dark with little fade on the rim, quite a lot of acid in the mouth which drowned the fruit, considering the reputation of this winery and their handling of this signature grape, I expected a lot more. Left for a couple of hours same nose and no change on the palate, I would not have guessed Carmenere tasted blind.

Hint of bell pepper, and I like some green when I'm drinking Chilean wines. But didn't inspire much.

Apperitiving by Madrid; 12/19/2016-12/20/2016 (RVGDLN Y Cuenllas) : Served by the glass from a new bottle. On the nose the variety does not appear anywhere. It is muffled, as if drowned in ashes. Wine Education Service - Chile (LSE) : Dense. Cherries on the nose. fruity, oaky, tannic, needs food, spicy, liquorice, long, very youthful.

Medium nose, solid structure, medium plus finish. Doesn't really scream Carmenere but it's good wine.
