Day 1: Very nice with cherry, minerals, spice, pencil lead and dust. Medium plus finish. 93 points Day 2: Not surprised this is more open for business on day 2 and has a long life ahead. Floral, blueberries, cherry, minerals, pencil lead, dust, earth and a touch of tobacco. Drink now to 2032. 94 points 71% Cabernet, 23% Merlot, 6% Malbec. Recommendation: Wonderful value from Napa and bought locally for under $50 so great deal.

2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Event (Minneapolis, MN) : The star of the night for sure. This reminded me of a super Tuscan. Balanced wine with leather, plum, earth, dried flowers, minerals and blue currants. Decanted 3 hours and medium plus finish. For sure the wine of the night by quite a bit. 71% Cabernet, 23% Merlot, 6% Malbec.

This is excellent right now. I opened it to pair with raw oysters as an appetizer and was blown away. It was better with the chick lobster & New Zealand Wagu surf & turf that I intended to drink it with. It's beautiful and I wish I had a LOT more of it. I still have plenty. It has at least a few years left before peak.

Two hour decant. Very deep magenta color. Plum, black cherry, juniper, red apple peel, anise, and subtle bubble gum on the complex, woodsy nose. Smooth, dry, medium bodied palate, with good, lingering acidity and strawberry and menthol notes. Full, velvety tannins on the longish finish. 71% CS, 23% Merlot, 6% Malbec

We decant for 2 hours, very fresh and clean taste. Really light for its alcohol content. Will buy again.
