Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay Ethos Reserve

A bright gold bouquet starts your impression of this wine. The nose is tight with hints of a lot of different smells -- oak, fruit, ... On the palate, the wine shines with an excellent even palate feel, good fruit intensity and medium length. I drank the 2010, the day before but enjoyed this wine much more!

The wine looks yellow colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like oak and lemon. Had a strong oak quality.

Not much of an aroma with slight hint of honey suckle. Taste is crisp, acidic but not too sweet with some tartness.

Great with hard cheese and a nice salad. It was crisp but not too acidic.

Heavy oak on nose. On palate, fruit is there with some ripeness. Needs 1 -2 years
