For $25, this was a nice purchase. Good fruit, with the cab franc apparent on both the nose and palate. Medium bodied w/ some herbal elements. Decent structure and fair acidity, it was more enjoyable with food than on its own.

A charming big red blend that on the one hand exemplifies the Napa style and on the other manages the subtlety and depth needed to stand up to big spicy dishes. Drinks well on it's own as well. I'm slightly unconvinced of the QPR, but only slightly.

Medium claret color, some spice, bramble and cigar box, typical of Craig mountain wines but much more approachable at this young age. A good value for the money.

decanted for 45 minutes, very fruity and full-bodied, smelled like a much older wine.

Upon opening, the high alcohol and closed wine was prevalent. After about 15 minutes there was a bit of an opening and big red fruits and berries poured from the nose. I drank it at about 65 F which I though was a bit too warm. The mouthfeel of the wine was something very nice. It was big and smooth and the finish was pretty long. It was an OK bottle at $25. I would drink it again if I …
