Excellent acidity stars here with very good balance of ripe red and blue fruits (with some capsicum). Good structure too, really perfect for food right now. Just awesome qpr bdx blend.

Such a solid wine. Of course the predominance of Franc makes it up my alley. Blue fruits! In a real sweet spot *right now* - but you could save it another few years without harm. But now is a great time, I think.

I seem to drink my FM Parabellum wines pretty quick, so I never seem to get a chance to see them age. Too bad as my wine group thought this has a lot of life ahead of it. Of course this was my last bottle. Opened, but not decanted for 45 minutes before pouring. Very enjoyable and a winner for the price that FM charges.

Blend of brick, garnet , violet colors. Plum, cinnamon , orange peel scents. Black cherry & cassis carry the taste, incredibly long finish.

Part of a Star Wars Night with my wine group, where all the wines we had were from Force Majeure. I no longer think this is going to improve with any more bottle age. I think it is at it's best now. Sadly, no one's favorite at our dinner, and it may have been the least favorite FM wine of the night.

Still very young and tannic. It was very tight. Opened but not decanted for over 30 minutes before pouring. Others in my wine group liked it better than I did. I think it will show better in another year.

Part of a FM tasting at a Turkish restaurant with my wine group. As the only non-Rhone type wine, it stood out a bit. While we all liked it, it was the least favorite wine of the night. I think it would have showed better if the other wines were Bordeaux grape types.

2 hour decant. Still drinking quite young, but a good bit of air does this wine right. Flavors of black cherry and cassis fruit, saddle leather, high cacao chocolate, just a rich, delicious wine. Drink now - 2032.

This is a "second" label?? Wow. Decanted this 2 hours and it really did need it (likely more). Very rich and full bodied, coating the palate with deliciousness. Lots of structure too, definitely built for the long haul. Flavors of black cherry and cassis fruit, leather and dark chocolate. This is a huge wine, still in its infancy. Primarily Cab franc, with 33% Cab Sauvignon and 7% petit Verdot. It is a mouthful of blackberry and cassis, leather, tobacco, chocolate and a strong mineral component. It is dense and velvety and complex and delicious, once it opens up. It needs a 2-32 hour decant or several more years in the bottle, but when it opens up, it is stunning. One hell of a "second" wine!

A big wine loaded with black fruits, a little currant, some dark chocolate and a spicy quality. There is distinct minerality/graphite note as well. Similar qualities in the mouth with a very pronounced backbone of tannins. This wine is a baby and still needs to get everything knitted together but, when it does, it should be a knockout. Massively extracted fruit and three, or four, oak forests. It features berries and coconut, with berry and coconut accents, followed by a 'flood' of berries and coconuts. In sum, it sets a new standard for over-the-top and in-your-face! Not quite abominable, but not too far off either. Yuck!
