Bought by mum, drank with the family. Hard to rate this, as I have had no other comparables. This fortified wine is made in the style of a vin doux naturel, but with 70% Mavrodaphne and 80% Black Corinthian (Korinthiaki) grapes. Medium tawny; attractive nose of raisins, strawberries, caramel and sappy wood; medium sweet, fresh considering its 18% alcohol but acidity is a bit edgy, lovely aromatic length.
