Livermore AVA + Wente Dinner with a ton of other wines : Tasted as part of the 2011-2014 Lineage lineup. A good shot at a wine in a tough vintage. Good acid and frame, coupled with some nice red and black currant, plum, evergreen, and earth notes. There were hits of green bell pepper and cedar which made the wine come across a little thin and overly herbal for me. Elegant, but a tad bitter on the back end.
