Conn Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

This bottle was in great shape and drinking very well. A perfect mix of fruit and tertiary aromas and flavors. Black currant, ripe plum fruit. Mushroom, cedar and a menthol characteristic. I really liked this wine. It might’ve scored higher, but next to 1970 haut brion it came in second. Excellent wine however. Highly recommended

Wow, what a lovely surprise! A beautiful Cab still full of flavor. Bricky color and a bit of Brett in the nose initially that blew off, leaving a delightful, mature Napa Cab that was a treat to drink. Decanted and aired 90 minutes, that was just right. Wish I had more.
