Tasted during the birthday celebration of Daniele on the 19th. The bottle came from Nicky, one of Daniele's longstanding friends. From memory: For me the wine was too tannic und still substantially unbalanced. Possibly way too young. "Gros Rouge qui tache" did not enjoy it very much.

Bright ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas and flavors of cooked dark cherry, red currant, vanilla, tobacco and bakers chocolate. Very pleasant herbal quality on the long and earthy finish. Full bodied. Well balanced and harmonious. Big and powerful. Solid.
