A blend of 90% Carricante and 10% Catarratto, from vineyards on the volcano at 750 m. White flowers, green apple and peach with some notes of seaweed. Fresh saline minerality and vivid acidity. Medium bodied and structured. Fresh finish. A good example of an Etna bianco wine.

Yet another very decent Italian white wine around the US$20 price point... Nice floral and white fruit notes on the nose, which follow somewhat to the palate, but here it is more mineral-driven, with a little acidity in good balance. The finish is dry and minerally. This is better when kept quite cool - it gets a bit cloying when warm. Perhaps a little pricey for what it is at ~US$20.5.
