Drank over two days. Mostly straightforward, with kisses of nuance here and there. It showed better on the first day. Fine bistro quality wine.

Dark cherry fruit with a touch of the rosemary note to it. And a bit of high pitched earth character too. Smells and tastes like Etna Rosso. If a bit of an inexpensive one.

That rosemary thing of Etna. A bit stead on the palate.

well made and it needs food but quite simple and one dimensional

Actually, I like the nose. Clean and herby with a fruit expression but still smells Sicilian. Light on the palate with good freshness. Lively. Works it out at $16 or so.

Winemaker of the year in Gambero Rosso. And salty and fresh and mineral, tasty stuff. A fantastic food wine notes Julieta.

A highly unusual Etna Rosso that is opaquely dark, rich, delicious, and lush, versus being dominated by elegance and structure.

90% Nerello Mascalaese, and 10% Capouccio. Sorry about the spelling. All stainless steel but maybe some oak Foudres. And that harsh hardness on the back end. The name means the bearded goat. All the rest of teh wines are the contratada, which if we were awesomeness we could have those too.
