Nice ruby red out of bottle. Refreshing berries note to the nose. Nice round taste in mouth. Fresh and mildly acidic. Soft tannins. Really enjoyed this. Value for money.

This is great value, I think Rioja is one of the few regions that can deliver at £6 and £40 and everywhere in between. Leathery red fruit and a lick of vanilla. £7 bargain.

Tesco finest Vanilla and black currants on the nose Little bit sour on the palate, dusty tannins, some bitter dark chocolate. Leather. Not bad for £8. 15/20
