Golden lemon colour. Peach and some struck match on the nose. Good complexity, with mouthfilling peaches and some tropical notes, oaty creamy oak, and a long clean crisp finish.

Atkin Chardonnay Comparative tasting (Lismore) : (Tasted Blind): Gently lifted nose of apple blossom, greener fruits and some white nectarine. Touch of butter. The palate enters with more juicy notes, rich and cream suggesting MLF and with vanilla and more direct flavours. Fabulous juiciness on the mid-palate with rich lees-infused texture, vanilla edges with butter and bright stone fruits. South African wine tour - Day six (Hemel en Aarde Valley) : Medium minus intensity aromas that are leesy but still very much there, peach and muted stone fruit and cream. Seriously textured, fleshy and juicy with a citric note to the peach fruit. Medium length. Hmm.
