Nice complexity but with incredibly soft tannins. Aromas and flavors of raspberry, cranberry, dark chocolate, violets, pencil shavings, leather and sweet spices. Lovely herbal component on the finish. Bright and pure with vibrant acidity. Full bodied but well balanced. Quite good.

From a below average vintage, this Syrah/Grenache dominated blend aged 18 month in new French oak is fantastic. Medium ruby fading to garnet in the glass. Robust aromatics give a clear impression of a freshly baked gingerbread house with clove, baking space, vanilla and notes of ripe, almost jammy strawberry and blackberry. Tannins are soft and plush, almost sweet. Acidity is quite fresh and alcohol very well integrated. Flavours match the nose with cinnamon, vanilla, blackberry and bittersweet chocolate. This …

Great right out of the bottle. Black blood red. Leather nose. Oaky vanilla notes. Velvet feel. Mild tannins and quite smooth. Opens up and the taste is long. Picked up from WTSO for $20 -- exactly what I want in a red for food or drink alone. Will be a go to when I can find it.
