In a good spot. Layers of ripe cherries, herbs, medium acidity and floral notes. Drank over 2 days.

Served blind Relatively light ruby garnet Light cherry aromas and flavors, Light acidity with a hint of residual sweetness Moderately high alcohol. (14.5%) At first I thought this was a 10 year old Sonoma zin, but came around very Pinot after 30 minutes of air Very pleasant drinking, and probably at its peak. I worry the alcohol will only become more present and the fruit is so nice right now

Two years later this has settled down, nice cherry plummy herbal flavors. The alcohol is definitely a bit too present, so would serve on the cooler side.

Is warming and ripening, with nice layers of fall spice, minerals, smokey cedar and crisp red plums. Grew more intriguing with each sip.

Funky herby plum flavors in a tight, restrained package. I rather like this in an elegant sort of way.

New World Blind Tasting Group $25+ (Bin 75) : Brighter red core with paler rim; very cherry, taut, smoke, pomegranate, ripe but fresh; more medium bodied, higher alcohol, slight medicinal, sweet cherry, almost cranberry, longer finish; mine.

Hahn SLH & Lucienne Tasting (Bin 75) : Lightest extraction and more of a dull crimson hue; sour cherry, lighter, floral, dried strawberry, tea, minerality?; weightiest mid palate of all 3, viscous, silkier tannin, cherry, strawberry, floral, not candied, very sappy, slight medicinal quality that is intriguing; very good.

Young, edgy and complex, with layers of crisp cherries, dry spices, white pepper, earthy cedar and firm tannins. A great start and will be interesting to see how this evolves over the next couple years. This one has backbone.
