Still surprisingly fresh and refined for a white with this much age. I very much enjoyed it.

Beautifully clean, with ample dose of petrol, unripe pear, house lime peel. Really really elegant at the level. Perfectly dry, which is my preferred style of Riesling. Even the lowest level Keller bottlings overperform.

This has really come around. Nice tropical fruit and finish. Do not drink too cold and let the flavors come through.

Keep it simple.

Popped and poured. Beeswax aroma with citrus notes. Stone fruit and mineral flavors up front, apricot pit finish. Strong backbone, good structure, maybe some tertiary features. Solid wine, drinking well, excellent QPR.

Decent riesling but somewhat short on the palate and slightly uneven acidity. Perhaps closed as of now.

My first try of this entry level Keller Riesling trocken, the grapes are purchased from other wine-growers, this bottle is lacking the typical KPK Riesling balance, a little unharmonic still, zesty, lightbodied on the midpalate, slightly bitter, with an quite energetic acidity in the aftertaste, a bit disturbing cause an entry level Riesling should be tasty right after pouring, especially in an overwhelming Riesling-year like 2015, wait some time, but cannot assure you that this wine will really blossom, *(*-?), …

Keller's entry-level Riesling made from purchased grapes. 12% alcohol. Quite intense neon yellow-green color. Quite fresh and ripe but also rather straightforward nose with aromas of ripe citrus fruits, some peach marmalade and a hint of herbal greenness. The wine feels ripe, medium-bodied and lively on the palate with pronounced steely minerality and chalky bitterness, juicy lemony notes, some wet stones, a little bit of apple blossom and a hint of pink grapefruit. Overall the wine feels pretty taut and …

Enjoyed on Thanksgiving. Popped and poured. The wine was a bit gassy so it needed a shake but other than that it was fantastic. Lively with acid, citrus fruit and mineral. Definitely buoyed by the strength of the 2015 vintage.

Nose of melon and citrus. Palate has tingly acidity with tart citrus and pear fruit. Although definitely dry, the fruitiness gives an impression of a little sweetness. Excellent paired with smoked salmon.

Light gold colour. Nose is elderflower, Chinese pear, clover, Swiss cheese and crushed rocks. Palate is lovely acidity, Chinese pear, white peach, rhubarb, a slightly spicy, distinct minerality and a slight rubber element. Very fresh and enjoyable but lacks the sophistication of the Von Der Reis. But I am curious if this might actually improve with some age.

Greenish gold in color, this wine reveals citrus, Meyer lemon zest and bosc pear on the nose. The mouth feel brought very vibrant acidity, distinct minerality and more citrus including lime zest. The finish was dry but assertive with the acidity leaving me longing for more. 12.0% abv. Purchased for $20US, this is an awesome offering that is firing on all cylinders already. So vibrant. Imported by Petit Pois Corp. t/a Sussex Wine Merchants, Moorestown, NJ.

Very refreshing reminiscent of green apple, lemon, and salt. Dry dry dry with a slightly shortened finish. Nothing complex, but still ever so drinkinable. Only wish it were 40 degrees warmer and I were on porch.

Light yellow colour. In the nose, this smells of artificial yeasts with banana and candy notes, some citrus fruit as well as well as slight menthol notes. On the palate, this is quite sweet now for a dry Riesling, it's got menthol notes again, some banana-like creaminess, not much acidity and not much punch anymore. Starting to tire.

Wines of Strength and Elegance - Kelvin and Marlene's Combined Birthday Dinner (Absinthe, Bukit Pasoh) : Pretty nice. This got better as it sat in a decanter, showing an expressive nose of earthy mushroomy notes, some chalk and plenty of fleshy pear and stone fruit accents laid over a base of minerally aromas. The palate showed typical Keller richness with stone fruit and ripe pear flavours on the attack undergirded with a strong mineral seam and a dusting of spice. …

I love this style of wine. The QPR is great. Strong acidity, good citrus fruit make it a high level balancing act. So different from the pradikat categorization. Both are good at different times. It only gets better from here as you go up the Keller ladder.

Not a full note, as this was a restaurant purchase. Trocken usually has me running for for real riesling, but this was not at all austere - at least not until the sommelière left it in the ice bucket too long and super-chilled it. But once it came back to a better temperature, it opened up again. Perhaps the riesling character was a bit muted, with more of a peachy ripeness than the mineral intensity and acid one might more …

Very solid tonight. Nice lemony note, orchard fruits and great acidity. For anyone looking for a "drier" Riesling these days, look no further than the Keller trocken. It is a touch sweet, but not in a sugary way. It is delicious. Easy to drink, good acidity (so it will last a long time), crisp and fresh. Definite buy more. Recommended.

The nose showed lemon, slate dust and sweet butter. On the plate, it was dry yet showed a full, plush body with citrus, peach and herbal notes. The remarkably fresh finish showed grapefruit and lasted for over a minute. This is a must have bottle of Riesling.

Yes sir, this is nice. Clear and golden, to the nose it is chalk, minerals and lemon. The taste is even bigger, first sweet exotic with apricot, kiwis and butter spread on toast then a nice lemon still with a little sweetness from a melon and finally a good sound twist of pepper and minerals. Excellent

I needed a wine to accompany a cauliflower dominated dish and what could suit better than a Silvaner? The wine flows into the glass in a very cristalline clear light yellow colour. In the nose, there are wet stones, a bit of flintstone, grass and green peppers. It's not very fruity. While the bouquet is quite unbalanced at first, it becomes more elegant with the bottle open for an hour. On the palate, the wine is very mineralic... and not …
