A good Riesling, pure, a bit square and in the finish alcohol is noticeable, but 88 point for consistency from start to finish and the firm body.

Genuinely surprised by this new world Riesling! Very expressive, complex, crisp. From some of the oldest vines planted in the Bio-Bio Valley, grown on red clay soil. Pronounced aromas of peach, pineapple, floral tones, beeswax, honey. Medium bodied palate with high acidity and flavours of peach, fresh pineapple, iron, canned pineapple, tangerine, lemon. Long finish. 13% - gift, but I forgot from whom :(

From the Rulos del Alto block on the Quitralmán Estate in the Bio-Bio Valley, old vines, no irrigation, red clay soils, 13% ABV. By Chilean standards, the southern part of the Bio-Bio valley is a cool climate, and there is a nice freshness to this wine, but the faintly petrolly aromas suggest a certain warmth and although there is some nice fruit (apple, peach, lemon) the lack of aromatic intensity and nuance seems to indicate a relatively low diurnal temperature …

Mineral/petrol on the nose. Medium bodied, dry, firm and refreshing acidity, showing a bit overripe citrus with strong petrol flavors. Solid stuff.

Quite up front and powerfull aromas of ripe lemon, honey, funk, chalkyness. Medium to full bodied, with a very young and pungent citrusy profile. Ripe, modern, but still kind of lively and refreshing. Better after few years, still kind of disjointed. But nevertheless delicious. For the price, a good New World Riesling.

Yet another Cono Sur that harkens back to my time spent in Alsace. No, this is not exceedingly rich, nor is it the most profound Riesling I have had, but it is pretty darned good, particularly for the price. MInerality and lemon a go-go with just a touch of petrol. Ample acidity and fruit on the palate, finishing with a bit of chalkiness. For the price? It would be hard to find a better expression of the variety. thedrunkencyclist.com

Very fresh green apple and white flowers on the nose. Mouthfilling, peach and apricot, not very acidic, simple but enjoyable. Doesn't last long in glass. Serve well chilled.

It's a very nice wine, but there is just something I really don't like about. I think it's just barely worth its price.
