Fantastic Malbec, still has cellaring time(one year or more) providing wine has been kept at a constant temperature in the cellar. Beautiful color, wonderful aroma, very smooth.

Although it should be drunk until 2010, I opened this bottle this week and it is still amazing. Powerful, well structured, dark red color. I am not sure it would last too much more, but probably can stand until mid 2013.

After opening and giving only a few minutes to breathe, the acidity was way too overpowering, completely covering up the classic Malbec berry flavors. I was thinking low-80's or maybe I had a bad bottle. The next day, I decanted it for a half hour. This really opened it up. Normally, in 2008 I'm not decanting '04 Malbecs but this one needed it.

- so much fruit and so much malbec and great overall effort if a bit more monotonous than one would have hoped.

Decanter New World Fine Wine Encounter (Landmark Hotel, London, England) : Powdery nose, possibly a little greenness. Fine palate, long finish.

Argentinian Tasting : This wine was popular, but for me it was a little lost coming last. The fruit in this was the brightest of the filght, with a lot of acidity, as well. A nice bottle, probably the best to easily match with food, and the least serious of the three. 90-91

This stunning wine is still a little tight and could probably do well with several years of dreamy slumber. I enjoyed it completely, none-the-less. We took it to an island restaurant where there was no decanter available. Bottle breathing time was short -- 20 minutes. Spent lots of time gazing and swriling and sniffing. Big and brambling nose. Nice dark color. Good legs. Super heavy bottle. Lots of concentrated flavors in the palate. Blackberry, dried dark cherries, and some leather. …
