Great Value Wine. Loads of tropical fruit on nose and lemon zest, orange peel, and pecan pie??? on palette.

Beautiful and well-constructed SB. I liked it quite a bit the night I opened it, finding it a nice intermediary between a white bordeaux and a NZ SB. But then I forgot about in the fridge, and came back to it several weeks later, finding it really stunning: pineapple, apple, pear with nice acidity. Medium straw in the glass. Rich and layered nose of ripe and dried fruits and ample oak. Apricot, white peach, lychee, and baked apple with lemongrass, clover honey, and wet stone. Palate is inviting with surprising concentration of fruit and richness of oak. Medium bodied with balanced acidity and alcohol. Finish is complex and lengthy with gentle toasted oak and browned butter. There�s a subtle bitterness throughout that is perplexing and intoxicating! Agree with the notes about tropical fruits. This is good, though didn�t stand out to me. Price was right.

Blind, I would�ve called this a NZ. Tons of tropical fruit, guava, pineapple, honeydew, peaches and cream. Topped by an herbaceous grassy note. Palate lives up to the nose. Pineapple and star fruit, a kiss of oak vanilla. Moderate acidity, but certainly no Sancerre. Much more akin to a Bordeaux Blanc.
