This is a spicy wine. The label states that this blend consists of: "51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 3% Petite Sirah." I did not notice aromas of strawberry jam and white pepper, that the winemaker draws attention to on the label, but I did notice lavender and vanilla aromas.
