Really unique expression of California sparkling. Very subtle mousse, nose of apricot, brioche, a little baking spice. Palate changed dramatically while open. Initially quite little, some stone fruit and brioche. After 30 minutes had increased in complexity with apricot and cinnamon standing out. Still enough acidity to carry it through. Would definitely buy again

We drank on the train down to NYC. Awesome bottle; my personal favorite sparkling wine.

Jus what the doctor ordered. Fresh grilled peach , some white pepper on the finish. Nice grassy aromas perfect start to a weekend

Pop and pour. Drinking from small chardonnay glass rather than flute. Served chilled NOT cold. Beautiful yellow reflecting its age with medium bubbles but very active. Yeast, bisquit, ripe apple, lemon peel, citrus on the nose, crisp, clean. Nice full creamy mouth feel with great citrus, mandarin orange, tangerine flavors yielding to a sweet orange bitter finish.

Sonoma - March 2012 : This has explosive toasty yeast/pinot complexity, still some lighter fruit in the background but overall it's integrated. It has good acid, medium weight, freshness and a creamy feel. Excellent.

Good, but not great. I had high hopes for this after the 2007 Estate Rose and the current vintages of the Royal Cuvee. It's very good, but that's it Not overbearing and has decent cut in the finish. Nice and clean. But the overall experience is good, but uremarkable. Where's the excitement? I expected more from an 11 year old wine.
