Darker color than I am used to for Oregon. Nose of cool blue and red fruits. The nose has some sense of 'steel tank' going on. Palate has some real nice red fruits of cherries and red raspberries. Couldn't resist trying this. The nose is a little closed, but with some air opens to reveal black raspberry, currant, lots of floral notes, and some hints of clove. The palate is ripe and definitely super young with lots of dark fruit, fresh flowers, and a little earth. This is overall pretty well balanced and not quite as forward as some of the other '12s I have tasted. Lots of development potential. I'd say it needs a minimum of 1-2 …
