Red fruit, cherries, and dust on the nose. Fruit forward, simple but incredibly balanced with refreshing acid and some round tannins on the finish. This is a Sangiovese bottling from a DOCG that was unfamiliar to me. Very nice for $20/btl at a restaurant in the Monti district of Rome
