I love Domaine Carrette wines, and this lesser Mâcon certainly lives up to the name. Quite fruity, as many Mâcon-Milly-Lamartines can be, but also has the underpinning of creamy acidity from the secondary fermentation. Super value.

Great value, nice minerality with lemon rind going on to stone fruit with a finish that is almost saline. Good food food wine.
