- Garnet color and aromas of fig and cherry and has flavours of oak, blackberry and raspberry with a medium body. Polished texture with a long finish - Always a favorite go to wine. Easy to drink, though containing harmonious notes.

As others have said, not complex. Competes reasonably well at its price level (~$10 USD). Drinkable, not fantastic, but solid. Cherries on the nose, fruit (plums?) on the palate, tart finish (quite pleasant).

UGH. First time that I was disappointed with a Costco "bulk" wine. Must have been fooled by the wooden case. Not to my liking. Just not a good Rioja and there are so many alternatives for the same or less money. Light but not balanced. Very short finish. No depth.

Blind Night (Jock) : Odd wheaty black fruit nose. Tastes of black cherry and bell pepper. Earthy finish with noticeable alcohol. Bitter acidity. Unbalanced. Not a fan. Josh's 2nd wine.

Hints of lavender, cherry, bright red fruit, dark chocolate, caramel, and earth. Fruit forward with short finish. Think old world Rioja. Not an incredible depth, but a great balance between elements. Seems like it's near the end of its drinking window. Opened up after 10 minutes, but was starting to fade after 45.
