(13.5% alcohol, 5,2 g/l acidity, <3 g/l sugar) NOSE: Sweet, warm, ripe raspberry and boysenberry, pommegranate juice, freshly crushed black pepper. Pleasant nose, if rather dark for a pinot noir (86p) TASTE: Again sweet, warm juice of raspberry, boysenberry and pomegranate. Quite fruity and juicy. Mild tannins. Pleasant. Fruity and slightly bitter aftertaste. (85p) TOTAL SCORE 85 (86) points.

Towards the heavy end of the spectrum, aspiration a bit more than the reality, could have been almost any clone produced from warm climate Competent, enjoyable easy drinking, not inspiring

I had just a little taste of this wine, but I did like it quite a lot. It tastes very fruity and is easy to drink.

Blackberry and cherry fruit-forward Pinot; ripe but not jammy, and with restrained wood. Medium-full bodied. A safe, inexpensive restaurant purchase.
