Five Nations tasting (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney) : mineral (stone) and Citrus notes and hints of thyme, The oak is still prevalent but less obvious. Okay

I'm not sure this was a bad bottle...it smelled something chemical that was very unpleasant. It wasn't that bad on the palate with good acidity and texture, but has the same unpleasant taste. EDIT ON 30-OCT-2011: I don't think this is the case here, but I'm rating it as the bottle was flawed.. I don't think this can be that stinky in normal conditions.

California style chardonnay without being over the top buttery/oaky. I little bit rough finish.

Not balanced. I feel some nice fruit but it is very acidic and sweet and the elements doesnt' play together very well + very one dimensional. The fruit is nice, but all about vanilla, gummibears and butter, not very intersting in the end. Wont buy again
