Arkenstone Sauvignon Blanc NVD

Golden yellow in color. Grapefruit predominant on the nose with fainter notes of tropical fruit and grass. Oak influence, sur lie aging, and a bit of sémillon all add to the substantial mouthfeel before tangy lime on the finish.

This was a fabulous example of classy SB with melon, lemon, grassiness and just great balance and mouth feel.

Should have gotten more of these. This was our last bottle, but the wine continues to be wonderful. I like the honeysuckle characteristics and the softness in the mouth. It's drinking very well. Light and refreshing.

This isn't quite as good as the estate wine but it's still a really great Sauvignon Blanc. Drinking on the third day - vacuumed and refridgerated. It's got a nice grassy taste to it, but light and not overly so. Great acidity which keeps the wine together. Still a bit of the honeysuckle I got the first time around and a bit of white fruits and floral as well. Delicious.

Juicy melon and star fruit. Crisp on the palate while retaining medium to full body weight. Lovely finish with balanced acidity.

This was really delicious. Arkenstone knows how to do white wine. There's a nice honeysuckle, some green apple, some grassiness. The flavors work really well together. Just wonderful. Not quite the main Sauvignon Blanc, but I'd certainly buy it again.

Average sauvignon blanc aromas, but then the palate takes off. Medium body with great intensity of very ripe white stone fruit. Balanced acidity and minerality. Long crisp finish. Wonderful mix of the Napa fruit forward style and old world Sancerre. One of the best Sauvignon Blancs I've had.

Big grapefruit, almost with a tangy mineral note to it. Medium bodied with a rich citrus and melon nose (I could have sworn that this was a New Zealand SB)- much different than their estate SB. I don't feel that this has the ability to improve with a little time in the cellar either. I was very pleased with this wine- however, I do not think that this wine compares to their estate SB.
