Tasted at Tabla restaurant. Their wine list categorized this under “Spice-Worthy Whites”. Was stunned to note that this was more like a muscat: yet the sugars didn’t quite reach a critical mass and insist upon dessert wine. Very surprisingly well paired with foie gras beignet, luscious and satisfying. While the restaurant charged approximately $55, it can be purchased on the Internet (only in France?) for 12 Euros. If only they would export to individual consumers...
