Major disappointment. The first Austrian red I haven't enjoyed. Tried it with food, tried it without food. Tried it directly after opening, tried it an hour later, tried it 3 hours later, tried it a day later, tried it 2 days later. But the result was always the same: Medium bodied with a slightly spicy, Rhone-like profile but with no follow through and no flavour. Poor.

Medium ruby colour with a nose of red and black fruit. Medium body and moderate tannins, medium + acidity, overall well balanced and enjoyable. Recommended.

Nice complexity, pure fruit and very fresh. Lightish in body but well done.

Lots of interest on the nose. with dark fruits and wood. Lovely mouthfeel, with delicate tannins but lots of slightly sweet fruit, but balanced with the right amount of acidity. A very good wine.
