Chateau Musar Dinner (Pera, San Francisco) : Nose is light, minerals, slight peach; palate is medium bodied, medium acid, simple but fresh. Nice. 82-84

Light yellow color; aromatic, tart lemon, light menthol, tart pear, tart lemon syrup, fresh lemon nose; tasty, juicy, tart lemon, mineral palate with lively medium acidity; medium-plus finish (13.5% alcohol) 91+ points

Musar Vertical with B. Broadbent (Pera SF) : Medium ruby with a hint of gold. Light and vaguely nutty. Neutral apples. Medium all around.

Very light yellow coloured. The noose is not powerful; slightly herbal. Medium-light bodied the wine has very fresh acidity. Clear, delicious and medium finish. My personnel tasting note from Turkish Wine Bloggers (TWB) blind tasting.

My first Turkish wine. The Emir grape is only found in a small part of Turkey. The winery has a good data sheet: http://vinorai.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Turasan_Emir_techsheet.pdf Agglomerate cork. Nose is mild, grassy. Good acidity, slight licorice finish. Dry. While I question the value for $17 (on Amazon) the overall impression is of a wine that I'd welcome to my table any time. It hasn't been tarted up with oak, thank goodness. Good+.

Nice aromas of lemon, orange, minerals, apple, a hint of yeast, and a little stone fruit as it warms up. Lemon, mineral, pith, stone fruit, and a hint of cream (despite no wood) on the light palate. Tart lemony acidity, light-medium body, short-ish finish. This was a pleasant, light, tart and mostly simple wine, that has a little "something" that keeps it interesting.

Açık parlak yeşil. Burun gösterişli değil, hafifçe sarı meyve ve çiçek. Damakta orta gövdeli, diri asitli. Meyve aromları geride. Bitim orta. Diri bir beyaz.

Acik altin sarisi renkte, canli ve oldukca berrak. Cok temiz bir burnu var; armut, yesil elma ve beyaz cicek cagrisimlarina cok gerilerden hafif narenciye notlari eslik ediyor. Damakta yeterli duzeyde asidite mevcut. Yine yesil elma ve narenciye aromalari hissediliyor. Cok keyifli bir yaz sarabi olur. 2014 rekoltesinin de cok iyi oldugu soyleniyor.

Neutral watery green color. Somewhat restrained nose with aromas of aromatic herbs, tropical fruits, some sweet pear, a little bit of honeydew melon and a chemical hint of acetone. Quite light-bodied and refreshing, but even a bit thin on the palate with somewhat neutral flavors of steely minerality, some tropical fruits and a hint of citrus fruits. Acidity feels rather modest.
