One of my favorite easy drinnking wines. Nice plum and fruit with a good mouth feel. Bought this at Castello di Amorosa after a wine and food pairing.

Very balanced pleasant nose of black fruit, plum, and cigar box. On the palate, same dark fruit, plum, and just a hint of spice. Very pleasant mouth feel with low tannins. Merlot in this makes it a very smooth blend.

Nice restrained Napa cab, well balanced but in the end too one dimensional. Good with the filet we had for dinner. Wouldn't be seeking this out in the future or going back to the Castle.

Popped and poured and drank over 3hrs. Opened up and improved a little as the evening went on. Light nose of red berries with good mouthfeel, soft round tannins and a medium length pleasant finish. But a bit one dimensional and lacking complexity I look for in a Napa cabernet.

Ready to drink now. Good elegant nose, dark cherries with some floral notes, not overwhelming but very pleasant. Smooth mouth-feel and good structure for a supertuscan blend. Oak is apparent, which I have adapted a flavor for living so close to Napa. Wine goes great with game and lamb roasts.

still very tight, needs a good hour to open. Lots of oak and dark fruits. No lingering finish.
