nose: mexican salted tamarind candy. yup. im not sure what the hell it's doing here but it smells great. palate: more fruity, candied, and a little mineral. i was expecting the worst at 3.99 but this is decent. persistent tannins and nice salted jolly rancher finish. tasted great with potatoes and aged irish cheddar
