Jean Geiler Chasselas

Golden straw; oranges, lemons, minerals; pear, lemon, melon, slightly oily, light-medium body, crisp acidity, decent finish. Dry style with enough fruitiness to seem off-dry at first. A longer finish would have scored this higher. First time I've tasted this varietal.

Nose: burn sugar, sweet apricot, apple, clean smell with a bit of oily smell too. Taste: very clean refreshing taste. Almost spring water like. Got a bit of honey, floral, petrol, pineapple salad. decent acidity with a bitter white tea like finish. Relatively quick and sudden finish. Has a slight peanut oil/light paste undertone. Very focused and clean taste and would be wonderful with a light salad and sardine or seafood on a summer day.
