My first Croatian wine. Light golden in color. Herbal and salty on the nose with citrus: mandarin orange rind and lemon, and a sense of minerality. On the palate it has good depth and a richness that borders on viscous, yet still remains clean and fresh with reasonable cut. Popped and poured at fridge temp. This seems to be ripe and ready now, great apricotty aromas with that Korcula salty tang. Rich apricots on the palate, with a bit of grassy greeness as well. Might get a tad better with another year on it, but really good now as well!

This is a very young Posip, still green and only showing hints of that delicious apricot and peach, but with the distinct salty Korcula minerality there. I would say leave it in the cellar for a few years, the potential is there for a very good wine.
