Pomodolce Colli Tortonesi Fontanino

Of my case only 1 bottle remains. This one was magnificent, reminding me of an excellent St. Emillion with its lush texture, plums, herbs, licorice and just fantastic elegance with dense mouth pleasure. Once more to go and I will open soon. Heat destroys this wine at this point and now it's out of its cellar ready to be opened.

Oh yeah, really good. Do NOT give too much air. Decant slowly like an old wine. Air destroys this monster of a wine at 15.5%. It's almost at that collapse point, but it was really good. It's only downside was its boozy nature, but I kinda liked that with all of its unctuous richness.

Excellent. Lush, amazing texture with black fruit, notes of licorice, undertones of earth, umami, mushrooms, rusticity, yet all the while was elevated in the fruit of black. I bought the last bottle on a whim and would buy more as those flavors were of high quality and haunt my palate wanting to delve back into them. That texture with such complexity really shined. 8.5/10
