Darker than a typical Pinot and more full bodied. Dark fruit nose. Medium mouth feel with a spicy finish. There is a bit of sweet jamminess at the end which I am not fond off. Overall, it's not a bad Pinot though I feel it would be best with some sharp cheeses.

A slightly pinkish straw colour. Fairly subtle on the nose with some pears and beurre noisette. There's a nice weight in the mouth: rich and buttery, and nicely evolved, even feeling somewhat Burgundian. Though more acidity than you might expect in a pinot gris.

Not good. Sweet, ripe, and not a lot of interest. Maybe a bit on the backend, but this was nearly undrinkable FOR ME. Some people may like this style more. Dry, but tastes almost offdry.

This bottle seemed to embody the qualities that I like in Oregon pinot gris: good balance between fruit and terroir. Personally, I find lots of Oregon p.g.'s open with a bang, then quickly fade into a flabby, lifeless mess. This bottle stayed clean, sharp and focused the whole way. The nose was a little thin, but had fresh cut grass and citrus fruit. The fruit was full but fresh. The acid was pronounced enough to balance to fruit. The finish …

I prefer this wine served slightly below room temperature. Serve it too cold and you will miss out on subtle flavours and an elegant smoothness.

Nutty with pepper and lime. Bit of a vodka style bite to the palate. Not really enjoyable for me.

Vij's on a rainy Saturday (Vij's restaurant, home) : Light straw gold color, with quite high viscosity. Surprising nose, a little floral with asian pears, apples (red, not green). Warm, ripe palate, balanced acidity, flavor of (lightly baked) apples, pears.

Pale straw colour. Towards an Alsatian style with nice tartness, tropical fruit, unctuous and honied. A very good example of a Pinot Gris and something that could live with quite a few spicy foods. Drew a V.G. from Dulcie.

WIML88,NOWA,NOWS Tasted June 16, 2007 at the winery. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of lychee, pineapple and a touch of grapefruit. Light flavors of grapefruit, lychee and peach. Light to medium acidity and body. Drink over the short term.
