Light sweetness, light bodied , fresh (7.5% abv, amazing for 2009). Peach, pear, and fruit blossoms. Long tangy finish. B+

Lovely tropical fruits but with a real elegance and light touch. Very long finish and great acidity.

Fantastic, paired perfectly with spicy chicken tikka masala. Unbelievably reminiscent of trip to Mosel, it is the "next level" riesling that you do not taste anywhere else in the world.

Pop and pour; served as an aperitif and then with dessert (a pignoli torte). Nice nose of honeysuckle and ripe peaches. A bit sweet; tastes like white grape juice. There is a bit of acidity that stopped me from pouring this down the drain. Not sure how 93 Points was bestowed by David Schildknecht (WA). Different strokes . . . I suppose.

First experience of this type of wine. Lots of fruit, some apples, clementines, etc. Sweetness is not overpowering. Tons of acidity a bit overpowering without food, but perfect with food.

Doesn't show quite the same electricity and depth that the Domprobst (#10) had, but it's damn good all the same - fresh peaches, apples and limes framed by mineral and herbal notes; obviously very primary but light on its feet, beautifully balanced and incredibly refreshing to drink.

The nose showed grapefruit, slate dust, floral stems and hints of coconut. On the palate, I found a gorgeous balance of sweet verse acid with honey, minerals and light yet mouth filling lemon. The finish is long and mouthwatering with intense citrus on the mid-palate. This is a nice step up from the Kabinett and an amazing value.
