Villa Dal Ferro-Lazzarini Merlot Delle Venezie Campo Dal Lago

Monthly Boys' Wine Night - Champagne & Old Bordeaux (Island Room, Hong Kong Country Club, Shouson Hill, Hong Kong) : From Veneto. Thin bricking but a still bright colour. Nose is beautiful perfumed Merlot...spicy but definitely not Pomerol, something more Italian dried herbs about it for sure. Palate is fully resolvd tannins but still with lovely sweet, light but also somehow rich fruit. I loved this. What a surprise!
