Black Estate Chardonnay Omihi Series

Label image might show 2010 vintage, but my bottle was 2011. Huge nose, essence of creamy peaches and white stone fruit. A little less impressive in the mouth, sadly. No long finish or sustained depth of flavour, a bit short and simple though there is a nice acid lift at the end, not bad in a New World chardonnay with 4 yrs bottle age. At around £20 pretty ordinary value-for-money.

Decent fruit, mid weight, a decent glass of wine.
