Drank one of my last bottles, first time in quite a while. It has really transformed. Intense notes of dark chocolate and peppery heat blew me away. Because of the high alcohol content one glass the first night and one glass the second night (after vacuvin) were perfect.

These very ripe California style cabs are not really my thing, but I enjoyed this. Limited tannin and the acidity doesn’t cut much of the young fruit. Even so, it has an even presentation where the pieces fit together. It would be good with bbq pork in a sweetish sauce.
