Very funky nose - almost reminiscent of body odor! Gig fruit bomb smack in the face. A little bitter on the finish. Actually this wine improved dramatically with some breathing time. The funky odors blew off and became more delicate and fine. Decanting recommended.

Dark ruby, currant & cedar nose. Dry with bold fruit, currants and tart cherries. Big acid, but nice balance with the fruit. Almonds and tannins on the finish, needs food. Improves over several days with black berries and plums. Decant or wait another year.
