Big Table Farm, Edelzwicker, Willamette Valley

Gorgeous understated styling. Light lemon lime hints but so much mineral, saline and white floral notes. Palate is super crisp and refreshing but still shows a touch of body and lovely mouth feel. Again, lovely acidity on the back end. This is a lovely wine that is not to be missed especially at the price point Unique to find a wine of this style in the New World.

Best served cold, nice tartness and pineapple, enjoyable.

Brought to a restaurant, PnP, served with dinner. A blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and a little bit of Sylvaner. White flower, saline, slight toasted nut as temp comes up. Agreeable.

Perhaps past its prime. All flowers. Insufficient acid and phenols. Too even. Goes down fine, but not interesting enough to seek out.

Relatively dark yellow color. Relatively subdued nose dominated by melon and peachy pear. Smooth full mouth feel. Flavors match the nose. Reasonably long finish. Very good!

I think this has improved since I last tasted it; the fruit is a bit more intense and concentrated. Fresh flowers, candied orange, and sweet peach on the nose. This is a very interesting white which (like many Big Table wines) will not appeal to everyone. Yes it is high on phenolic acid thingies and odd non fruity unconventional wine flavors. But it is fascinating. Intriguing slightly skunky nose when warm - more elusive when cold. Flavors begin a tad simple but not bland and with a long, evolving finish when cold.
