Black Swan Cabernet Sauvignon

Tannins were muted, strong flavors of cedar and roots. modest nose

Tour de Margaret River and Swan; 8/20/2010-8/27/2010 (Western Australia) : Some reductive soy sauce notes but just mostly very muted nose though. Savory notes of paine grille , dark plum juice with some bitter mocha and cinnamon with rounded currant juice.

Nothing memorable, but hard to complain for $6

This wine had an australian peppery taste and hardly any nose. It was dark in color but seemed light on the palate.

Colour: Clear and bright ruby red. Smell: Slightly sweet and fruity (currants and blackberries), vanilla. Taste: Puckering tannins and fairly sharp acidity, light to medium bodied with a light mouthfeel. A hint of red berries and oak, but not much of fruit. Short finish.
